Top 40 Distributor Cyrk Joins ASItransact Advisory Board

TREVOSE, PA—(February 18, 2002 )—Cyrk, ranked fifth in the top 40 Distributors in the promotional products industry, has joined the ASItransact.com Advisory Board. ASItransact.com is an order entry and management system created exclusively to enhance the way distributors and suppliers in the promotional products industry conduct business.
Comprised of both distributors and suppliers, the ASItransact Advisory Board is representative of companies in the industry. When the Board was created in 2000, small, medium and large companies were asked to assist with the development, testing and improvements on ASItransact.com.

“The Advisory Board is an integral part of our continual development. We rely on this Board to share the challenges and struggles they deal with in managing orders today, offer ideas from a technical standpoint and most importantly, make sure we build a system that meets the needs of the industry,” explained ASItransact President, Dale Denham.
By the end of 2002 Cyrk intends to send all orders to ASI listed suppliers through ASItransact.com. As part of this transition, Cyrk chose to participate in the ASItransact Advisory Board to ensure the system effectively meets their business needs as well as the needs of the suppliers receiving their orders.

Bob Wittstein, COO/CIO of Cyrk, will represent the company on the Board. “Supply chain efficiency is critical to the value proposition we offer our customers. They expect speed, accuracy and quality for a fair price. The tools that embody the ASItransact system will enable Cyrk to achieve these goals without increasing the cost to deliver upon our customers’ expectations,” said Wittstein.
